5 Vegetables That Fight Cancer

As researches have shown that vegetarians are less likely to have cancer; many experiments were made on vegetable-related regimes and results came out to be positive.

Providing some cancer patients with certain amounts of vegetables daily has cured them without chemotherapy. Thus some kind of food may be helpful to prevent and fight cancer. Vegetables such as Carrots, Tomatoes, Garlic, Broccoli and Berries are well-known for their effect to prevent tumors.
Due to substances found in each of the above vegetables especially antioxidants, which prevent and slow down the development of cancer and tumor cells, they were considered to be anti-cancer vegetables.


Starting with Carrots, Carrots contain Falcarinol an antioxidant that increases blood levels preventing cancer and reducing cancer tumors.
 

Tomatoes contain lycopene, beta-carotene, vitamin c and phenols that work together to provide protection against cancer. Tomatoes is rich in lycopene that might be useful tool in the fight against wide range of life threatening condition including prostate cancer.


Garlic contains also antibacterial substances that block and reduce cancer cell proliferation, enhance DNA repair and stop the progress of cancer-causing substances. It help also in preventing develop of various kinds of cancer especially in digestive organs osophagus, stomach, and colon.









Broccoli also contains several compounds such as: isothiocyanates, sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol which increase the production of body protective enzymes. It protect from the free radicals that can damage DNA cells and help prevent stomach, colon, and lung cancers. 







Berries contain mainly Vitamins c and e in addition to ellagic acid which is also an anti-cancer substance.



What shale we avoids:
·        Meat, cheese, and butter can be rich in saturated fat, which has been linked to obesity,a big cancer predictor.
·        A ballpark hot dog or a few slices of bacon once in a while won't kill you, but don't make them a staple of your diet. Because hot dog  tend to be high in nitrites and nitrates, preservatives that can, in large amounts, potentially increase your risk of stomach and other cancers; breast cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and other types of cancer.
·        Excessive Alcohol; Stop after one drink! Too much tippling is associated with an increased risk of cancers of the esophagus, mouth, and breast.
